The Silverstone Museum for Two

The Silverstone Museum is an immersive visitor attraction that celebrates the past, present, and future of Silverstone and British motor racing.

Over 60 hands-on exhibits give visitors the opportunity to try a variety of activities — from operating a wind tunnel to taking part in a pit stop to climbing into a replica Grand Prix car. In addition to the hands-on fun, the museum features some of the most iconic cars and bikes that have played a part in the 70-year history of Silverstone, including Mansell's iconic "Red 5," an E.R.A. from the first-ever Grand Prix, and Barry Sheene's 1979 Suzuki motorbike.

A thrilling immersive film show — the ultimate lap of Silverstone — brings together some of the circuit's most famous racing moments and is the perfect way to round off each visit inside the museum. Step outside the rear of the museum and onto the old race track and catch a glimpse of the action on the current circuit. Take your time and enjoy some refreshments in the café, where you can sit overlooking the circuit. This is a great experience that everyone will enjoy.

  • Once you receive confirmation from Virgin Experience Days, have your serial number and PIN ready, then click "Activate to view booking instructions." After filling in some details and activating your voucher, you'll be able to view full product information and booking instructions

  • Under 16s must be accompanied by a full-paying adult

  • The experience is available seven days a week until September — please check the website for winter opening times from September onwards

  • The following event dates are excluded (though you may still visit if you hold an event ticket): British Grand Prix, MotoGP, Silverstone Festival. Event dates may be subject to change; any bookers will be notified once dates are confirmed

  • We recommend booking at least four weeks in advance to ensure availability — all bookings are subject to availability
